EHM Design

Below is my senior thesis project- a Planned Parenthood center in Kansas City- the Patty Brous Center on Emanuel Cleaver Blvd. My goal for the project was to create an innovative exterior while housing modern equipment in a comfortable, clean environment using the small urban footprint of the former building.  The clinic is located downstairs, and the offices, conference room and break rooms are upstairs. The materials used will be inexpensive and as sustainable as possible, and the building will have many windows to allow ample natural light.  Featured first is the massing study of my original idea, followed by various renderings of the interior and exterior.
